In the Winter term of my Senior year at Oregon State University, we had a Portfolio class, dedicated to building out our brands and portfolios as designers. The introductory project was to create a designer manifesto, which was described as;
“This is the voice of your brand, this is the voice of your portfolio, it’s the voice in your resume, on your cover letter, and during the interview. A designer manifesto is you, your vision, your mission.”
I decided to curate a dispensary brand, tailored towards my love of branding and packaging design. I also have an appreciation for the cannabis industry, due to the innovative and always fun packaging they have for various brands and products.
